Dyson Vacuum Cleaners
There's no doubt that what Apple did for the personal computer, Dyson did for the vacuum cleaner. Dyson vacuums cleaners are universally known for their striking design and colors. In fact, Dyson vacuum cleaners have become a design icon; a consumer 'must have'.
But Dyson vacuums are far more than just designer items. Their design is revolutionary. Other vacuum cleaners use older technology, in which they rely on the bag or filter to hold back the dust. This means that as the bag fills up, or the filter cloggs up, suction power is lost and dust is expelled back into the air. Dyson, on the other hand, introduced a new technique for producing suction - Dyson call it RootCyclone. Basically this means making the air stream spin: dirt and debris are subjected to centrifugal force. Therefore suction isn't ever lost and dust is not expelled back into the air.
As well as the unique RootCyclone system ensuring that more dirt is collected off your carpet or floor, this system is also good news for allergy sufferers. When you use a Dyson vacuum cleaner the allergens contained in house dust are not expelled back into your home. But the final step in the Dyson system after moving through the motor is a trip through the final HEPA filter.
According to Toby Sabille, a microbiologist with Dyson, about 99% of the bacteria and mold spores present in the air sucked into the Dyson DC15 "The Ball" Upright Vacuum Cleaner are removed from the air in the cyclonic portion of the filtration process. Sabille also noted that the main function of the HEPA filter in the Dyson is to catch carbon released by the vacuum cleaners motor, as well as any particles that might escape the cyclonic action.
More than any other vacuum manufacturer, Dyson is continually introducing new technical improvements. The Dyson "Upright" DC15 is the first and only vacuum cleaner to feature the very unique ball and is a top rated upright. Unlike most vacuums, the Dyson DC15 upright vacuum has a large yellow ball that allows you to pivot and roll with ease; you simply turn your wrist and the entire vacuum cleaner will change direction.
Whatever model of Dyson vacuum cleaner you choose to buy, you can rest assured that you are buying not just a designer item, but a technically advanced cleaning system.
